Background:

Our tribal ZP schools are extremely located. They lie inside the jungles, in between mountains & nearby rivers.

The tribal ZP school kids come to the school at around 10 am & because of their financial condition they don’t have breakfast at all & directly get lunch at 1 pm (which is given by the State Govt.)

So we started this “Daily Nashta Program” in Uthava tribal ZP school in the month of November 2022.

How it started:

During November/December 2022, we asked Magar sir, the principal of Uthava tribal ZP school, what to donate on the eve of my bday. He reverted with “24 nos. of plates, glasses etc” for the kids to have nashta donated at that time by another NGO. We readily agreed & did the needful. After a couple of months, the NGO backed out & at the same time, me & wife thought to start this at least in Uthava tribal ZP school kids because the stomach gets used to food consumption & at a growing age.

We donated first 3 months & then others from our group started.

Slowly slowly it started in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th tribal ZP school etc.

Also donors started donating on the eve of their bdays or anniversaries etc. & the rest is history

As of November 2025, we are providing daily nutritious breakfast to 362 tribal ZP school kids from 13 schools
